I’ve recently been asking myself what the point of writing a blog is in the age of artificial intelligence. People increasingly want fast and personalized information. It often happens that you land on a page, start reading an article, and realize that you’re not interested in the entire content maybe you only need one or two specific parts. Yet you still have to scroll through, read, and analyze the whole article to find what you need.

So how can you compete with AI? Artificial intelligence answers exactly what you ask. You no longer have to browse through pages hoping to find an up-to-date article explaining how to install the specific version of a piece of software you’re trying to configure. And sometimes, even after reading everything, you still don’t solve your problem.

So what is the point of writing content in this era?

Writing has been one of the great revolutions in human history. Through writing, people share ideas with one another: connections are created, relationships form, and from these culture and innovation are able to grow and flourish.

Artificial intelligence is a tool that will profoundly change our world. There will be a before and an after in fact, we are already living through it. But what about authenticity? What about reading the experience and perspective of another real person?

For this reason, I decided that my articles will not simply be a series of technical instructions explaining how to install a tool. Instead, I prefer to provide an idea, a starting point something that can spark further analysis and exploration.

More broadly, what is the point of producing something in an era in which an AI can often do it faster and sometimes even better? Whether it is an essay, a drawing, a program, or a project.

However, there is an important distinction to make. A program written by a human may technically be just as correct as one generated by an AI. But when it comes to expressing a point of view, sharing an experience, or conveying a feeling, do we really want to read something written only by an AI rather than by another human being?

My blog exists for this reason: because I enjoy sharing knowledge. I enjoy reading about other people’s experiences and sharing my own.

This blog will be a technical diary of real experiences.
